Sketch · the experiment-diagram canvas
Draw the setup the way the mark scheme wants it
Draw your experiment setup with neat black-and-white symbols: beakers, meters, clamps and cells that look like they came from a textbook. Label it, export it, or drop it straight into your lab report.
What can you draw?
Real lab equipment, ready to place
- Pick beakers, thermometers, burners, cells, bulbs and meters straight from the palette. They are proper schematic symbols, the kind you see in a science textbook, not cartoon clip-art
- Drag a symbol to move it, pull a corner to resize it, nudge it with the arrow keys. Rotate anything, change its line weight, and bring things forward or send them back
- Add arrows and labels, and let Plot45 line everything up as you drag
- Save the finished diagram as a crisp SVG or PNG on plain white paper, sharp in a printed report and on a slide
- Insert a sketch into a Write report as a numbered figure. If the sketch is part of an assignment, your teacher can open and read it too
Sketch is free with a Plot45 account
Draw, export, and keep up to 5 files in your cloud workspace. On the Teacher plan, a sketch can be part of any assignment.
