Plans for you and your class
The plotting app is free for everyone, and you do not need an account to use it. The Teacher plan is for you and the students you teach. School plans are for a whole department or a whole school.

School
By quote
For departments and whole schools, billed once a year. We price a school plan on the number of teachers and students you actually have, so a department of four teachers is not charged as though it were a department of twenty.

Try it without a card
The 30-day trial does not ask for any payment details, and it will never turn itself into a paid plan.
Cancel it yourself
You cancel from your own billing page whenever you like. You do not have to email us and you do not have to telephone anybody. Your class carries on working until the year you paid for has finished.
14 days to change your mind
If you buy a plan and it turns out not to suit you, ask us within 14 days and we will refund you. The Refund Policy explains this in full.
Your work is yours
You and your students can save your work onto your own computers at any time, on any plan, including the free one.
Questions teachers ask
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing is charged, because we never took a card from you, and nothing starts paying by itself. Your account simply becomes a free account, so you keep the plotting app, Sketch and Write. Please save anything from the trial that you want to keep before it ends. You can buy the plan whenever you are ready.
Do my students need email addresses?
No, they do not. You create the logins yourself, and each one is a username and a password that you can print and hand out in class. We do not ask you for a student's email address, and we do not ask for any personal details about them. A student aged 16 or over may join with their own Google or Microsoft account instead, but only if you approve them first.
Why is the first year cheaper?
Plot45 is new, and the launch price is our way of thanking the teachers who try it early. The plan costs $99 a year. Until 31 July 2027 your first year costs $79 instead, and after that first year it renews at the ordinary price of $99. You will be emailed before every renewal, so the date will not take you by surprise.
What if I need more than 30 students?
You can add them for $3 each per year, using the plus button on the Teacher plan above. If you add a student part-way through your year, you are charged only for the part of the year that is left. If you are buying for several teachers at once, a School plan usually works out cheaper, so please ask us for a quote.
What happens to our work if I stop paying?
Your plan ends, and your access to the work stored in it ends at the same time, so please save anything you want to keep before your last day. You can save your work onto your own computer from anywhere in Plot45, and your students can do the same with theirs. We send you reminders before the date arrives, so that nobody is caught out. Plot45 is here to help you do the practical work, and it is not a place to store that work for the long term.
Who takes the payment?
A company called Paddle takes the payment on our behalf. They look after the card details, the receipts, the tax for your country, and your billing page. We never see your card number and we never store it.
Prices are shown in US dollars, and your own currency is shown to you at checkout. If you add student places part-way through a year, you are charged only for the part of the year that is left. If you buy a plan yourself, you have 14 days to ask for a refund. The Refund Policy, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy explain all of this in full.
