Your AI assistant

A teacher can connect their own Plot45 account to ChatGPT or Claude. The assistant can then answer questions about your classes and help you prepare work, in plain conversation. This is for teacher accounts only.

What connecting does

Once connected, you can ask your assistant things like "how is my class doing on the pendulum practical?" or "who still needs to hand in?", and it answers from your own account. You can also ask it to build a marking rubric or draft an assignment while you plan a lesson. Anything it creates arrives as a draft that no student can see, and publishing to a class is always a separate step that you confirm.

What it can never see

The assistant never learns a student's name. Students appear to it only as Student 1, Student 2 and so on, and the numbering never changes, so you can talk about the same student across conversations. It also cannot change your classes, students, settings or billing, and it cannot delete anything. These limits are built into the connection itself rather than promised by the assistant.

Connect from ChatGPT

ChatGPT calls these connections apps. On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and switch on developer mode. Back in Apps, choose Create and give it the address https://plot45.com/mcp with authentication set to OAuth. ChatGPT sends you to Plot45 to sign in and approve the connection, and brings you straight back.

Connect from Claude

On claude.ai, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Give it the address https://plot45.com/mcp. Claude sends you to Plot45 to sign in and approve the connection, and brings you straight back.

Disconnecting

Disconnect inside the assistant's own settings, the same place you connected. From that moment the assistant can no longer reach your account. Connecting again later starts fresh with a new approval.
